This blog is the brainchild of a group of women who digitally create scrapbook albums and/or craft items for others. Our intent is that it will have informative content for the Digital-Designing-for-Others (DD4O) and Professional-Digital-Crafting (PDC) communities on a regular basis. While we expect that DD4O and PDC business owners will be our primary readership, we hope the content will be of interest to many others as well.
We have two directories.
The DD4O or Product Designer Directory lists our members businesses. If you are looking someone to design a scrapbook or or other associated digital art then have a browse through our list of talented digital designers. If you have a DD4O or PDC business or are considering a business, you are invited to join our group. Please read the information contained in the DigiD4O Membership Application page. As an active member, you would then be entitled to a listing in this directory.
The DRD or Resource Designer Directory is for the benefit of DD4O/PDC business owners who are concerned about complying with the resource designers Terms Of Use (TOU). We do not want to violate the copyrights of people who provide us with many of the resources with which we use in our businesses. The directory will contain listings of digital resource designers who provide for DD4O businesses within their TOU’s. This also provides a great opportunity for Resource Designers to tap into and market to this growing market.
Glossary of terms used:
DD4O: Digital Designer for Others - this term replaces Scrapping for Others (S4O) or Scrappers for Hire (S4H).
Product Designer - designs end products for clients such as scrapbooks, photobooks, wall art, cards, candy wrappers etc
Resource Designer - provides a product designer with the resources to make those products such as digital kits, elements, brushes, actions etc
